Swim and yoga benefits

Every morning I wake up at 5 and head downtown, I usually walk but on really cold days I take the bus.

And every other day I go to the swim club to do 40 laps then stretch and rest in the hot tub, it is nice to get to the pool early in the morning to clear your head before heading off to school.

The rest of the week I do a yoga class. I recently started it but I have been cramping up much less than I used to and my body is starting to show signs of feeling looser.

I am just doing beginners yoga but it is really rejuvenating.
I feel I can do more laps when I swim than I used to, I had fallen out of my routine for some years and recently picked it up again.

But the most important part of the work out is not the physical aspects of it but the mental. Each morning after working out and getting cleaned up, I head to class.

Last year before I started I would get to class feeling sluggish and that was after getting up at 730 and getting a full nights sleep.

But with a healthier body my soul also feels healthier too.
