squat exercises

The number one exercise all men must incorporate into their resistance training routines should be the squat.

The squat recruits not only the quads but the hamstrings, glutes, calves, and core muscles.

The squat is such and intense exercise that you will not only build massive amounts of muscle, but you will train your body to handle extremely heavy weight.

When i began incorporating the squat into my routine, I was able to increase the weight on all my lifts.

If I could only do one resistance exercise, the squat would be that one exercise.

The squat should always be performed using a spotter.

Alot of people like to perform the squat using extremely heavy weight and only going down low enough for their legs to be at a ninety degree angle.

In my opinion, that is defeating the purpose of the exercise. They're using more weight than they can properly handle.

You want to squat as low as you can go in a controlled manner, bring the hamstrings and glutes into the picture along with some serious quad stress.

If you learn to squat correctly, and regularly perform this exercise in your workout routine, you will see an over all strength increase along with some nice muscular development.
