Lawn tennis

Today, in this highly competitive world we hardly get time to look after our body.
Getting the proper exercise is one of the most important things and this is something which most of us ignore.
As they say, ‘Health is wealth’.
My idea of exercise is not going to the gym and lifting heavy loads.
I get my exercise by playing lawn tennis.
This is one thing which I have been doing continuously for the past three years and I look five years younger than my current age.
I always warm up by running three rounds of a hockey field. After this I go for simple stretching exercises to loosen up my muscles.
I make sure that all my muscles are loosened up from the head to the toe before entering the tennis court.
I have a tennis coach who feeds me the balls to hit.
I do different types of drills under him which are exhausting but gives me the kind of exercise one should have.
I play for two hours and then go for my cool down exercises.
I run two rounds of the hockey ground and then go to stretching. It is very important to stretch my muscles after playing so that I don’t have stiff muscles and body ache when I return home.
Again I stretch all the muscles from my head to toe which makes me feel as if I never played.
I repeat this routine six days a week.
The best part of having sports as your means of exercise is that one can both enjoy and be fit at the same time.
