I am 24 years old and find the best exercise I can fit into my busy schedule is jump rope.

By fitting in at least 20-30 minutes three times a week I have been able to lose 8 lbs in 2 months.

I go to work from 8 to 5 and make it home around 6pm. I have dinner between 7pm and 8pm. I try to wait to exercise 2 hours after I eat that way I don’t feel the heaviness of the food weighing me down.

I try to count how many times I jump and play a good long music track of about 23 minutes with uplifting music. I make sure it is at least 20 minutes of work out.

I jump rope about 1500 times in 15-17 minutes.

I then do lunges for about 2-5 minutes and walk off for the last five minutes.

I live near a main street so I exercise outdoors. This gives me plenty of light but makes sure I am protected since there is plenty of light.

Prior to hitting a consistent routine I had a period of about 2 months that I did follow this routine but maybe only once a week.

It took about that long for me to find the days that I was most likely to actually work out.

Also, because I live in California the weather helped motivate me as it wasn’t too hot or too cold.

I also started paying closer attention to the times I was eating. I realized I was eating late and this would cause me to feel heaviness later thus I was not motivated to work out.

Now I have at least three days set aside to work out and more often than not succeed at doing just that.

I feel lighter and feel happier with my effort.

It took a bit of observation and determination but the results have been really good ones, with little time usage.
