Green Tea Tummy Fat

I began to consume two cups of green tea about three months ago.
A friend claimed that drinking two cups of green tea had helped bring his cholesterol levels down. Since I had borderline cholesterol myself, I thought it safer to consume this tea than taking medication to control my cholesterol.
But wonder among wonders, green tea not only succeeded in bringing my cholesterol under control (a recent blood test confirmed this) but I also noticed that my weight had gone down and my tummy fat had reduced.
I do not purchase any particular brand, but always choose loose leaf instead of teabags.
I add tepid water to 2 tsps of green tea in a mug and cover it to brew for some time. I then strain this and drink the tea, adding some more warm water to the leftover tea leaves. I later strain and drink the second cup.
I think green tea works by controlling appetite to some extent.
It has given me the motivation to work out more religiously every week. Perhaps this too has contributed to the weight loss.
Additionally, I have also been consuming whey protein in lieu of lunch every day, and 2 tblsp of apple cider vinegar in warm water.
All this has helped reduce tummy fat and bring down my weight considerably. In the three months since I began consuming green tea, I have lost a total of 5 kgs.
I am very pleased and aim to continue drinking this health-promoting beverage.
