Chin up bar
Growing up I always played a lot of sports.
In high school, I focused mostly on soccer and basketball.
Being extremely active for, on average, three hours a day kept me in great shape.
On top of that I would also go to the gym a few times a week to try to add muscle.
Since high school, however, staying in shape has proven to be a lot more difficult.
The time constraint is one of my biggest obstacles to overcome.
I still manage to stay in good shape but have tried many different workout routines in order to do so.
For me, what makes a good workout routine is one that does not take a lot of time but gets great results. I like working hard.
My very best workout routine is one that I do every morning in my living room.
I started out by using workout routine videos that gave me a solid structure, and since then, I have modified it to create my own routine.
I do use weights, however the bulk of my workouts are centered on using the natural weight of your body.
My favorite piece of equipment (which costs about $20) is a chin-up bar. Doing pull-ups and chin-ups is one of the most difficult and rewarding exercises I have ever found.
Doing those, combined with other basic exercise moves such as pushups and lunges, have proven to be my very best workout routine.
